description

Ever since she can remember, Saiki Misaki has had the ability to talk to ghosts. She works as a special consultant for the city's secret division that deals with supernatural cases. She also works as a dominatrix at an S&M club, where she has gained a cult following for her extraordinary ability to tame men's twisted desires. These special talents, however, forbid her to lead an ordinary life. Everyday she has to deal with overzealous fans/stalkers, and worse, lost spirits in desperate need of help...

Teizokurei Daydream (released under the title Ghost Talker's Daydream but also known to fans as Vulgar Ghost Daydream) is a supernatural/mystery anime series. It was first released in March 2001 as a seinen manga (meaning "for mature men") by Saki Okuse and Meguro Sankichi (serialized in Shonen Ace, compiled in seven volumes and still going) and, later the same year, as a radio drama. While the manga was putting more emphasis on the investigative and horror aspects of the story, the anime goes more for the adult situations and the comedic aspects. The adult situations are more sexy than the perverse hentai material, although there is some S&M and bondage. Ghost Talker’s Daydream offers an interesting story, good designs and an excellent animation.

Ghost Talker's Daydream (2004), My My Mai (1993), U-Jin Brand (1991)

Sekita’s presence in Japanese animation goes back to the early ’80s and the children’s TV show Anime Oyako Gekijo, released to English audiences as SuperBook. Although he has worked on international, mainstream fare for toy lines—Beyblade, Transformers and numerous Gundam projects—director Osamu Sekita has also delved into adults-only material like U-Jin Brand.
