Local indie thriller TWISTED SEDUCTION makes its World Premiere at Fantasia!

This story has an unlikely beginning for a genre film: director Dominique Adams and lead actor Tom Broadwell met while they were working as fitness instructors on a cruise ship in 2008. Having to share a cabin made them fast friends and after the cruise ended they kept in touch (Dominique being from Montreal and Tom from the UK), and soon the pair starting going back and forth about ideas for a project they could work on together – the result: Twisted Seduction. Shooting on a Red camera and pouring all their own money into the film, the duo set out to make an intense psychological thriller that could rival anything being put out by more established companies.

Soft-spoken Brit Broadwell plays David Grant, a Harvard-bred genius with a PhD in Mathematics and Master in Human Development and Psychology. Based on his calculations, he has found the woman of his dreams – only she doesn’t know it yet. He’s so certain that they’re a perfect match that he kidnaps her and holds her against her will, convinced that she’ll come around. But if he’s right and they really are a match, he’s in trouble…

TWISTED SEDUCTION makes it World Premiere on July 14th at 7:30pm in the Salle JA De Seve, hosted by writer/director Dominique Adams, actor/producer Tom Broadwell and actress Caroline Brassard. The film screens for a second time on July 15th at 1:00pm in the Salle JA de Seve.
